I am an architect and have had the opportunity to work with JDC Construction on a number of projects, mainly domestic. Two of these projects comprised of environmentally self sustainable dwellings. This involved using special clay blocks, which requires tolerances of not more than 2 mm, the use of natural insulation, hemp and sheep wool, solar hot water heating system for underfloor heating, provision for the future use of a CHP unit and JDC Construction completed both of these projects professionally and without any issues. They were comfortable dealing with a full design team including Mechanical and Electrical engineer and structural engineer and quantity surveyor.

I enjoyed working with JDC Construction and found them to be very professional and conscientious.

James cooper of JDC construction did a full renovationand extension on my house in Dublin in 2006. I found James very pleasent to deal with throughout the building works. His pricing was competitive and his workmanship of high quality.

JDC Construction were a pleasure to work with from the tendering process all the way through to the snag list! James is a very approachable guy with a strong work ethic ensuring that everything is done right and if it isn't, then it is redone until it is right! We've been living in our house for 2 years now and it is a real pleasure to live somewhere that is built with your own needs in mind. One thing that struck me since moving in is the number of neighbours who have commented on how tidy the site was kept all the way through the build - not something you will find with many builders and I think it is very telling of the quality service that James provides. James Cooper, of JDC Construction, is an able man, an excellent builder by trade; and of a most pleasant disposition. He built a house for my brother and I in Brittas, in 2009; the result is a trouble free home, built with the minimum of hassle.
